Focused on mental well-being
Jennifer Heaslip helps organizations build and strengthen their mental wellbeing programs. Through coaching, training and consultation. She believes in a three-pronged approach that focuses on leaders, frontline and the client that is being served.
Jennifer knows that when leaders support their frontline, teams are stronger, healthier, productivity increases, and the results also show in an improved customer experience.
After working with her, her clients report that their workplaces see improvements in how empowered their leaders are to support their teams. Clients report increased knowledge in the area of mental health, resilience and how to provide support. Clients gain insights and tools to put change into action.
Jennifer is a graduate of the Masters of Leadership program at the University of Guelph. She brings over two decades of experience and first-hand knowledge of systems from working in numerous settings, such as corporate health, school boards, hospitals, treatment centres, and community mental health organizations. Her clients are in a variety of sectors, ranging from construction to retail, including not for profits.
Her areas of interest are leadership, building healthy teams, coaching/development, the impact of trauma, and mental wellbeing.
Jennifer is known for her person-centred approach. One of the most important aspects of working with Jennifer is that you leave each encounter with resources and actionable tactics to put into place, either personally or professionally.
When she’s not coaching and consulting, you can find her spending time with her family and dogs, watching baseball cheering on her son with the Ontario Nationals or baking sourdough bread.
