Relational Leadership training (1 day)

This training offers leaders deeper insights into supporting employees. Leaders often report that it is hard to have productive challenging conversations.

Participants will learn how to support employees, encourage growth and develop a shared understanding.

When employees feel comfortable having a voice, raising concerns and taking risks, great things happen.

Such as increased retention, productivity and creativity.

This training is rooted in relational theory, psychological safety, attachment and neuroscience.

  • Build a research based developmental perspective vs corrective perspective
  • Tools to lead productive conversations with employees on difficult topics

PSYCHOLOGICAL SAFETY FOR THE WORK PLACE

When an organization is able to create high levels of psychological safety all members of the organization

feel comfortable to bring forward new ideas, take risks and raise concerns. Research demonstrates that this

PSYCHOLOGICAL SAFETY STANDARD (3hrs)

The National Psychological Safety Standard was first introduced in Canada in 2013. In this training you will be taken

through an overview of the 13 factors that the standard encompasses as they apply in the workplace

Psychological Protection

SUPPORTING EMPLOYEES RETURNING TO WORK (3 hrs)

Short term and long term leaves are a large challenge in most organizations. 

In this training you will learn how to effectively support employees returning to work.

Training Outcomes:

  • Organization tools to respond to distress
  • Strategies to stay connected and engaged while employees are away
  • Learn about areas of cognitive processes to consider
  • Build work-hardening plans
  • Create collaborative return-to-work plans

STRENGTHENING RESILIENCE AND REDUCING STRESS (1-3 hrs)

Now more than ever we need to learn ways to reduce the impact stress has on our lives. Balancing competing demands in the workplace and also at home can be challenging. If active effort is taken to build resilience and reduce stress participants will see improvement in health and wellness. This training is rooted in neuroscience and evidenced-based practices.

Training Objectives:

  • Participants will learn about the neuroscience behind the stress response
  • Identify when they need to take action
  • Learn ways to reduce responses to stress 
  • Strengthen resilience

MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID 

In this two day training you will learn how to respond and support someone who is experiencing Mental Health problems. You will also learn and gain resources about a variety of Mental Health.

Training Objectives: 

  • Increased awareness of signs and symptoms of the most common mental health problems
  • Decreased stigma related to mental health
  • Increased confidence interacting with individuals experiencing a mental health problem or crisis
  • Increased help actually provided to individuals in crisis or experiencing a mental health problemconcerns.
